The Articles of Organization is the document that incorporates your LLC.
You, or someone else on your behalf, need to fill it out and submit it to the Wyoming Secretary of State.
You can file it online or by mail. Online is much faster, obviously.
Here we will focus on the difference between submitting the Articles of Organization by yourself and hiring your registered agent or a company like Neubase to do that for you.
Submitting the Articles of Organization Yourself
You need to start by filling out the document on this link.

As you can see, on the first page you need to fill out some basic information about the company.
Here’s what the second page looks like:
Here you have to fill out the details about your registered agent and organize their signature.
Once you have it, submit the Articles of Organization on this link, pay the $100 state fee, and you’ll have your LLC.
With this approach, all you’ll pay is the $100 state fee.
The downsides of this approach are:
- You need to make sure that you fill in everything properly
- Your name will appear in the public records and anyone can check out if you are behind your LLC.
If you want to avoid the downside, let someone else do it for you.
Submitting the Articles of Organization Through Incorporation Services
Incorporation service companies, such as Neubase, or any registered agent, can fill out and submit the articles for you.
Very soon afterward you’ll receive the articles and you could apply for your EIN (actually, we’ll apply for it).
That way, your name won’t be found in any public records anywhere. Your name will be present only in your Operating Agreement.
